You can hire up to four Toyota RAV4s that have been retrofitted to be 100% electric, fitted with solutions designed and manufactured by XAP.

Technical specifications:

60V electric motor: power output from 10 to 60 kW, maximum speed 5,000 rpm, 95% efficiency
60V inverter: water-cooled with vector control, accelerator pedal control, CAN or RS232 communication, control interface and motor mapping
New-generation battery pack: waterproof casing; two packs can be installed for greater range; maximum number of cells per pack
Electrobox: management of cell voltage differences within battery packs and charging
Power management and electrical distribution unit
Sensors and electronic boards: motor position sensor, isolated current sensor, charging board, BMU and CMU, 500 A relay.

For the past two years now, we have been entering two vehicles in the Aïcha des Gazelles Rally in Morocco. Navigation and concentration are the key elements of this rally, which is not about speed or the stopwatch, but about driving skill, mutual support and mastering the external environment.

Our vehicles are now competing in the petrol-powered 4×4 category. Taking part in an electric Rav4 means rising to the challenge of demonstrating that the eco-friendly, renewable-energy-based retrofit solution delivers on its promise of a more sustainable future.
